Attendance
Attendance is a priority in school and will continue to be so. We encourage all families to ensure that their children attend school consistently and on time. If your child is absent for any reason, it is vital that you contact school on 01460 73437 or email the school office office@ashlandsprimary.school before 9.00am.
If we have concerns about a child’s attendance, we will contact their parent/carer. If absences fall into a regular pattern, we will be seeking the advice of the school’s Education Engagement Officer.
Late Arrivals
Children arriving after 8.55 am will be classed as late If your child arrives after 9.00am they will be classed as late after the registered closed and this will go down as an unauthorised absence. If a child is late to school, they should enter via the school office. The adult who is bringing the child to school will need to complete a late form.
Term-Time Leave
If there is an unavoidable reason for your child being absent from school and you wish to apply for a term-time leave (this is not necessary for medical appointments etc.), please complete the form below. Paper copies can be collected from the school office. If you are taking a holiday during term time, it is vital that you receive permission from the Head Teacher.
