A normal school week totals 32.5 hours.
Start of the Day
Our school gates open at 8:40am and families are warmly welcomed onto the playground. Class teachers and members of the teaching team are available each morning to greet children and receive any quick messages.
If you need a longer conversation, please arrange a telephone call or appointment so we can give you the time and attention you deserve.
At 8:45am, the bell rings and children line up with their class teacher before entering school together. We kindly ask parents to say goodbye at this point so that learning can begin promptly.
The school gate closes at 8:50am. Children arriving after this time should be brought to the school office and signed in.
If you need to speak with the office team, please drop your child off first before making your way to reception.
End of the Day
At the end of the school day, the EYFS gate, upper side gate and lower side entrance gate are opened to support a safe and smooth collection.
Children are collected from the following locations:
- Wild Cherry: The Hub classroom
- Sweet Chestnut (EYFS): Outdoor learning area
- Maple, Apple and Willow: Main playground
Break Time
All EYFS and Key Stage 1 children receive a piece of fruit each day.
Children may also bring a healthy snack, such as fresh fruit or vegetables, for break time. Every child should bring a named water bottle containing water.
Lunch Arrangements
Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to Universal Free School Meals.
Hot meals are also available for all Key Stage 2 children at a cost of £2.60 per meal. Meals can be ordered and paid via the Scopay app.
Wraparound Care
- Breakfast Club: 8:00am to 8:45am
- After School Care: 3:15pm to 5:00pm
