School Day

Start and End of the School Day

Parents are welcome to come into the areas listed below to drop and collect their children at the start and end of the day. The gate to the playground will be open from 8.40 am. The School will be open from 8:45 for the children to register. The main door and gates will be closed at 8.55 to allow the children to start their school day. The gates will then be opened again at the end of the day for collection at 3.15 pm.

Each class have been allocated entrances as below:

Children arriving after 8.55 am will be classed as late and parents will need to complete a late form. If your child arrives after 9.00am they will be classed as late after the registered closed and this will go down as an unauthorised absence

 

Break Time

A piece of fruit is provided daily for all our EYFS & Key Stage 1 children. 

Children can bring in a snack, such as a fresh fruit or vegetable to eat during break time. Every child should have a bottle containing water. 

 

Lunch Arrangements

Children are supervised whilst eating their packed lunch or cooked meal in addition to when they are playing outside. 

Reception, Years 1 and 2 children are entitled to Universal Free School meals. In addition, hot meals are provided to our Key Stage 2 Pupil Premium children when requested.

Hot meals are available for Key Stage 2 children at a cost £2.40 per meal and are paid for through SchoolMoney.

The School Day

8.45 am to 8.55 am:  Register Opens, drop off and settling in time

8.55 am: Register close & Session 1 

10.40 am – Morning break

11 am – Session 2

12.00 pm –  EYFS & Key Stage 1 Lunch

12.15 pm –  Key Stage 2 Lunch

1:00pm – Register & Session 3 for EYFS & Key Stage 1

1.15 pm – Register & Session 3 for Key Stage 2

3.15 pm – End of the school day

 

A normal school week covers 32.5 hours.

 

Wrap Around Care

Breakfast Club runs from 8 am until 8.45 am.

After School Care runs from 3.15 pm until 5.00 pm.
